I’m sorry to inform you that Bob Elliott died on February 2, 2016. Bob was 92 years old. I needn’t tell you that Bob was a comic genius, as was Ray. My condolences to the Elliott family.
It was an honor to have been their radio, record and concert producer for 33 years. It was a long and fruitful journey. I took them to NPR and Carnegie Hall. Plus a Peabody Award, three Grammy nominations, 96 CDs in 26 albums, and 1800+ mp3s on a flashdrive (order below).
There was no one like them, and there will never be. Thanks, Bob (and Ray), for so many laughs. Read obituaries from The New York Times and The Washington Post. Send your condolences to email@example.com, and I’ll forward them to Bob’s family.
